Who is Jacquotte?
Jacquotte is a clever hen who invites you to discover life in the Alpine pastures, its biodiversity, and Alpine plant and animal life. She introduces to you the mountains’ inhabitants and their pursuit.

Visit the “World of Jacquotte”
Paid activities: €4 per person. Free for children under 3.
A host is present at all times on the farm to welcome visitors and introduce them to the animals.
Opening times
10:30 am – 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
- “Awakening the Senses” workshop – Daily, included during the farm visit. Discover different animals through touch, sounds, smells, observation and taste.
- Milking introduction with a model resin cow, along with explanations about the dairy production process. The milking room is located behind the former Hôtel Le Chamois.
- Educational farm visit
Daily from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with a host present throughout to guide visitors.
- “The Shepherd and His Dogs” show Every day at 11:30 am and 4:00 pm. A theatrical demonstration of sheepdog handling, featuring a fun “sheepdog driving licence” performance.
- “The Shepherd’s Trail” workshop – An educational trail for children aged 3 to 10, introducing life as a shepherd in the alpine pastures. Self-guided activity within the dedicated area.
Free activities – open access daily
- Indoor play area (ages 3–10) in the picnic room
- “Mountain Flowers” photo exhibition (picnic room)
- Mountain wildlife discovery: learn about the region’s emblematic alpine animals and explore life in the mountain pastures and the activities linked to them
