Special arrangements for the Tour de France cycling race
Special arrangements are in place to allow you to access the Joux Plane pass for the Tour de France cycling race passing through Morzine on Sunday, August 3, 2025.
Pedestrian access
Pedestrian Access: Round Trip via Nyon Cable Car and Charniaz Chairlift
A public shuttle will operate between these two facilities starting at 2:00 PM
(25-seater round trip shuttle on Chemin des Raverettes).
Free pedestrian access to these two facilities will be available from 2:00 PM.
Closures:
Last descent: Charniaz chairlift at 6:00 PM and Nyon Cable Car at 7:00 PM.
Regarding the Bike Park, access to the Charniaz chairlift is closed to mountain bikes from 3 p.m., along with the following trails:
18 – Return to Morzine
19 – Atray
21 – Chevreuil
