Many insects inhabit the mountain pastures. They play an essential role in natural ecosystems, and preserving their biodiversity is a major challenge. They can be found in the soil, on plants, in the air and in water.

 

The main groups of insects that can be observed

– Their distribution and seasonal patterns
– Different emblematic species
– Their characteristics

 

Field observation:

– Understanding what we can and want to observe: species that may potentially be spotted during the planned field trip as part of the workshop.

Learning to recognise the appearance of the insects we are likely to observe, as well as understanding their way of life (feeding habits, when and where they are active, habitat, etc.).

 

Discovering the way bees live using an educational observation hive.

Workshop «An introduction to beekeeping and the world of insects»

EVERYDAY

Everyday at 2 and 3 pm.

 

Duration 40 min, from 6 years old,

€10 per pers.

This workshop gives you the right to visit the mini-farm.
