Bikepark
Opening summer
Morzine, mountain biking kingdom
Located in the heart of the Portes du Soleil, the largest mountain bike area in Europe, Morzine Bike Park was elected the best Bike Park in Europe and 8th in the world in 2020 by the readers of Vital MTB, one of the most followed US websites.
Explore a Bike Park which is in harmony with its natural environment.
Don't look for big artificial modules or highways. The Morzine Bike Park plays with the specificities of the land to offer you pleasure and thrills. Most of our trails are handmade by our bike patrols and machines are only used when it' s important for safety. The result is a more environmentally friendly Bike Park that is fun and authentic for riding fans.
A Bike Park for all levels.
A beginner's area was set up in the summer of 2020 to allow mountain bikers to familiarise themselves with the obstacles and modules such as banked turns, whoops or small jumps. It allows riders to improve their riding skills before trying out the difficulties in the wilderness.
Located at the arrival of the Pléney gondola lift, the 3800 m² area with a 430 m course is accessible to all free of charge.
Once the training is finished, it's time for a ride on the new blue run, the "Family".
Accessible to the whole family, it' s the easiest track in our Bike Park.
It's almost 4.5 km long and has a 500 metre difference in height, offering a gentle slope. Numerous banked turns have been made to eliminate the steepness of the slopes for everyone's enjoyment.
The blue Atray
This is a track with a very gentle slope. It keeps its natural feel with its roots and banked turns. It' s a more technical blue than the Family and remains accessible to beginners.
La Super 8
A collaboration between the Bike Park team and the Santa Cruz ambassador Romain Paulhan, former French downhill champion, allowed the redesign of the red track, freshly called Super 8 in reference to the first Santa Cruz downhill bike model whose dominant colour was red. This rolling and aerial run offers several jumps, tables and doubles and more technical parts at the bottom in the tradition of the Pleney runs.
In 2022, the Super 8 will be reworked on its upper part and will resume on the bottom, the old layout of the quarter note.
The Black
The legendary black run of Morzine designed in 1997! Maintained and developed year after year to keep its famous natural flow, its technicality, its charm and its "permanent" reputation. It's a track that combines banked turns, jumps, and more technical parts on a slope in the roots. It's a trail that allows you to drop the brakes and go fast as much as it allows you to have fun with the natural terrain.
