Skills Bike Park - MTB beginner's area
Skills… what?
So, what exactly is a Skills Bike Park?
It’s a special place for kids, teens, and even adults who want to learn or improve their basic biking skills in a safe and fun environment. These parks are built with dirt or gravel and include different features that help you practice your technique while having a good time.
Some Skills Bike Parks are built from scratch in city areas, and others are added to existing bike parks to make them even better.
Why work on your skills?
Why build Skills Parks? First of all — they’re fun! But there’s more to it than that. There are over 1.5 billion bikes in the world right now — that’s huge! It means there’s a big opportunity to create more cool places for people to ride.
Skills Bike Parks are perfect for spending time with your friends or family, having fun, and getting better on your bike all at once.
Every city or bike park can benefit from having one!
The Portes du Soleil ski pass is of course accepted.
In addition, a 1-day beginner pass has been created at €20, with 2 gondola runs and unlimited access to the Nabor and Viking carpets.
It is available at the lift pass office.
The carpets are also accessible to pedestrians.
The Nabor carpet is freely accessible.
The Viking carpet is accessible with the Multi Pass, and a €2 pedestrians ticket is available at the lift pass office or directly at the start of the carpet.
These 2 carpets offer easy access to orientation table (for example) at the top of the gondola and can only be used on the way up.
